Challenge: When Amazon invited Sonic to be a part of a beta where they allow a skill to deep link into the brand app’s location finder and menu, our challenge was to make the simple skill build request, a more exciting experience for consumers.
Solution: Not only did we add fun branded visuals to enhance the experience for those using devices with screens, we added in unexpected easter eggs that we teased on social— including custom jokes, raps, drink fortunes and even a hidden mint on our welcome screen—surprising and delighting fans who found it with unexpected gifts and discounts.
