CAP'N CRUNCH X ESPN: Crunch Time (Snapchat game, olv, social content))

Challenge: Drive to a sweepstakes giving away an MVP game experience.

Solution: Tap into our demo’s nostalgia for college football and 8-bit gaming with a football-themed Snapchat game complete with personalized phone wall papers in the colors of their favorite college teams. and social video.

Results: Over the first 10 days of the campaign, we had 1.2 million swipe ups and an aggregate 600 days of gameplay!

 

We made custom, sharable college team watercolors that each player was served at the end of their game depending on which team colors they chose to play as. People were able to screenshot and share these, so we could save our client the cost of unlockable filters.

And to draw people into play our game on Snapchat, we made the following with swipe up ads that mimicked UGC as to not interrupt their platform experience.

Across our other social platforms, we capitalized on nostalgia again by recreating famous plays from college football to drive to our sweepstakes

And people sure had fun talking about their memories of these plays in the comments.
